We are working with a leading manufacturer who are looking for a Production Planning Manager on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for leading the planning team to ensure that manufacturing schedules meet customer demands while maintaining efficient stock levels.

Job Description

• Review MRP outputs to prioritise daily production schedules
• Identify material shortages and initiate corrective actions
• Lead of a team of production planners
• Analyse part demand, usage trends and forecasts
• Maintain and improve planning data including BOM’s, routings and work instructions

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Proven experience in production planning, including MRP and inventory control
• Experience managing a team
• Background working within an engineering or manufacturing environment
