Our workshop runs on brand-new Mazak machines, including a 5-axis CV5-500 and a QuickTurn 250MSY mill-turn, backed by an Aberlink CMM. Our plant list is growing, with more Mazak machines on the way.

The role

We need an experienced CNC Miller to program, set and run jobs on our Mazak CV5 5-axis, from CAD model to finished part.

What you'll do

• Program a wide range of complex components in hyperMILL
• Set up and prove out jobs on our Mazak CV5 5-axis
• Machine titanium, stainless steel and aerospace-grade aluminium
• Turn work around quickly to meet extremely tight motorsport deadlines
• Run production and check parts to drawing
• Keep quality records in line with ISO9001 Requirements
• Maintain machines and keep them in good working order.

What you'll need

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller setter-operator
• Good hyperMILL programming experience (5-axis a plus)
• Experience machining titanium, stainless steel and aluminium grades (e.g. 6082, 7075)
• Able to work under pressure to extremely tight deadlines – motorsport experience a plus
• Able to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
• Mazak experience desirable, but not essential – full training given
• CMM experience desirable, but not required
