Description:
We’re looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join our Chief Technology Office (CTO). This role is critical in driving strategic portfolio outcomes and enabling transformation across a global, fast-paced environment.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of strategic portfolio outcomes, aligning with business vision and purpose.
Own and execute CTO portfolio strategy, ensuring alignment with roadmaps, funding, and vendor strategy.
Develop business cases & benefit validations to support transformation and rapid responses.
Engage with C-suite & senior stakeholders to influence and deliver CTO strategy.
Oversee portfolio risks, issues, dependencies, and reporting.
Support leadership development within CTO Change Portfolio Management.
Manage portfolio budgets, supporting a $2bn P&L across 65 countries.
Ensure CTO programmes are interlocked with HSBC Technology initiatives globally.
🌟 Essential Skills & Experience
✔️ 8+ years in strategic portfolio management / programme management, ideally within financial services technology.
✔️ Strong track record in large-scale transformation.
✔️ Exceptional leadership, emotional intelligence & stakeholder management.
✔️ Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar global programmes and create business cases over $100m.
✔️ Knowledge of infrastructure technology landscape and industry best practices.
✔️ Excellent communication & presentation skills, with the ability to influence at C-suite level.
✔️ Proactive problem-solver, adaptable, and effective under pressure.
