What You’ll Do

As Planning Manager, you’ll be at the heart of project delivery, guiding planning teams and driving best-in-class programme management. You’ll:

• Lead and mentor a team of planners, building capability and fostering collaboration
• Challenge existing methodologies and introduce innovative planning approaches
• Develop, maintain, and optimise integrated project schedules using Primavera P6
• Oversee construction budgets and ensure alignment with cost estimates
• Deliver governance, schedule, and quality reporting to senior stakeholders
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to communicate complex ideas clearly
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and predictability

You bring:

• Extensive experience with Primavera P6 and programme management
• A proven track record in leading planning teams on major infrastructure projects (£50M+)
• Strong financial acumen, with experience managing construction budgets
• Expertise in governance, scheduling, and quality reporting
• Confidence in engaging with stakeholders across all levels
• Bonus: Geotechnical project experiencem
