Description:

Optimised, a purpose-driven B Corp organisation with a mission to support the transition to net zero, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join its BEMS Optimisation division. The company, known for its integrated energy and sustainability solutions, operates across the UK and promotes a positive, inclusive work culture.

This role involves the delivery of small to medium-sized projects, focusing on system upgrades, optimisation, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and reactive maintenance. The engineer will have the capability to develop and modify software strategies and collaborate with project managers to lead small teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the safe delivery of project works, integrations, and maintenance tasks

  • Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring completion within time and budget

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate on-site works

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to meet project goals

  • Conduct risk assessments and uphold Health & Safety standards at all times

  • Commission and support installations on client sites

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and continuously seek improvement opportunities

  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to overall team development

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

  • Experience with BMS systems (Trend, Tridium, and ideally Cylon)

  • UK Driver's License and eligibility to work in the UK

  • Purpose-driven mindset and proactive, solutions-oriented approach

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
