Project Manager

Description:

We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator with great planning, organisational and problem-solving skills. A Project Manager with excellent customer service skills who is passionate about safety.

Roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
 

• Manage a variety of 132kV Overhead Line projects through delivery.
• Ensuring the projects align to SSEN Governance models and all interested stakeholder are engaged and working towards a common goal of on time, to budget and providing exceptional customer service.
• Attend reviews, review tender documentation and provides commercial support to projects.
• Taking a lead role in SHE activities to ensure that colleagues and Contractors are performing their duties with no risk to themselves or others.
   

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
 

• Project management skills; managing multiple workloads, finance and project planning.
• Previous experience in tree cutting, forestry or arboriculture; similar capacity experience is also considered.
• Experience of working with power lines particularly 33kV & 132kV along with any relevant authorisations would be advantageous.
• A Recognised construction safety certificate such as NEBOSH.
• Previous experience within a customer driven environment, possessing excellent customer service skills.
