Description:

CPRE Staffordshire, a local charity and part of the national CPRE network, is dedicated to protecting, promoting, and enhancing Staffordshire’s countryside and green spaces. Following a successful funding bid for the national CPRE’s Hedgerow Heroes project, the organization plans to plant 2 km of hedgerow across multiple sites in Staffordshire by the end of spring 2026.

The Hedgerow Heroes Project Officer will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of this initiative from late August 2025 to April 2026. This role will involve coordinating all aspects of project delivery, including planning, liaising with stakeholders, organizing planting activities, ensuring environmental standards, and reporting on progress. The officer will engage with local communities, volunteers, and partner organizations to ensure the success of the project while maintaining a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and biodiversity.
