A Top 20 international firm is seeking a Projects Infrastructure Associate (3–6 PQE) to join its highly regarded team based out of Edinburgh or Glasgow. About the Team
- Tier 1-ranked projects and infrastructure group acting on flagship mandates across the UK and further afield.
- Advises central and local government, public bodies, sponsors, funders, FTSE 100 companies and global household names.
- Core work includes energy, transport, social infrastructure, student accommodation, heat networks and other large-scale projects.
- Deep experience in PPP/PFI, project finance, procurement and long-term commercial arrangements.
- Collaborative, partner-led environment with strong emphasis on mentoring, technical excellence and cross-office working.
About the Role
This role is ideal for a driven Projects / Infrastructure Associate looking to deepen and broaden experience at the top of the market. The role will involve:
- Advising on the full lifecycle of major projects, from development and procurement through construction, operation and maintenance.
- Acting on student accommodation schemes and heat network projects, alongside wider energy, transport and social infrastructure mandates.
- Drafting and negotiating project and commercial contracts, including PPP/PFI documentation, project finance arrangements and procurement-related agreements.
- Supporting the development, delivery and financing of large-scale infrastructure assets for public and private sector clients.
- Managing a varied caseload of high-value, multi-party matters, often as part of multi-disciplinary and cross-border teams.
- Taking an active role in client relationships, leading elements of negotiations, calls and meetings appropriate to your level.
- Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to business development and profile-raising initiatives.
- You will work closely with a highly respected Partner and the wider UK and international team, putting you in a strong position to develop sought-after, specialist expertise in the projects and infrastructure space.
