Python Developer

Description:

The Python Developer will design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs, focusing on secure, scalable, and reliable solutions that support client platforms and products.

Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimising existing code, integrating with databases and third-party services, and collaborating with consultants and engineers to deliver client projects.

The role involves writing clean, tested, and well-documented code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical design decisions that align with best practices in cloud and cyber security.

The Python Developer will also help troubleshoot production issues, improve performance, and support continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess advanced Software Development skills in Python, including version control (e.g., Git), testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills, including building APIs, integrating services, and working with web frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS or Microsoft Azure) and secure development practices is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (e.g., Docker), and infrastructure-as-code tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently in a remote, client-focused consulting environment.
