Pier Pressure Group is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to head up our B2B and educational sales, and drive business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic sales initiatives, managing key client relationships, and expanding our market presence
The Pier Pressure Group is an independent collection of companies, mostly family owned and headquartered in Brighton. We consist of:
- Pier Pressure escape room venues in central Brighton
- Additional smaller escape room venues in Bracknell, Newhaven and Welwyn Garden City
- Pop-up events e.g. murder mystery nights, immersive experiences, social deduction games etc
- Mobile games for taking to offices/conferences etc
- And our workshop (Escape Workshop) which is a commercial workshop that builds props and games for other clients
Your time would be split between these multiple services we offer, so high levels of self organisation are essential.
You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director of the group.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives
- Identify new business opportunities within B2B markets and establish strong relationships with potential clients
- Manage existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop promotional campaigns and optimise sales channels
Skills
- Must have at least three years experience in a full time sales role
- Strong analysis skills to interpret data, identify opportunities, and inform decision-making processes
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to build lasting client relationships
- Strategic thinker with the ability to plan long-term sales initiatives whilst managing day-to-day operations
- Organised with strong time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively
