Security Manager

Description:

Parkdean Resorts, the UK’s largest holiday park operator, is seeking a Security Manager to oversee evening and night operations at its Cresswell Towers Holiday Park in Morpeth. This key leadership role ensures guest safety, security, and peace of mind, while maintaining a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all.

The Security Manager will be responsible for planning and deploying resources effectively, leading a team to patrol the park, deterring risks, and responding swiftly and professionally to incidents. The role requires a proactive, observant, and calm leader who can manage security risks, liaise with local enforcement authorities, and promote security awareness among staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage security staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage across the park.

• Lead and support security team members in patrolling and deterring risks.

• Ensure compliance with all security assignment instructions.

• Manage, investigate, and escalate incidents, producing detailed reports.

• Record and document all security activities accurately.

• Identify and address vulnerabilities or risks to the park’s security.

• Build relationships and coordinate with local enforcement agencies.

• Promote security best practices and awareness among colleagues.

Requirements:

• Full, clean UK Driving Licence.

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor License.

• Proven ability to lead teams in a security environment.

• Strong incident management, investigation, and reporting skills.

• Ability to remain calm, professional, and approachable in high-pressure situations.
