Semi Senior Auditor

We're recruiting on behalf of a top 20 accountancy firm with a strong reputation for high-quality audit work and a supportive, down-to-earth team culture. Based in Reading, they’re now looking to bring an Audit Semi-Senior on board to support continued growth.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Identifying key risks and carrying out fieldwork and testing
• Preparing statutory accounts and performing analytical reviews
• Liaising with clients and building trusted relationships
• Keeping managers updated on progress and helping ensure deadlines are met

You’ll be working with a diverse portfolio of privately owned businesses, gaining practical experience and responsibility as you move through your qualification.

What our client is looking for

• ACA or ACCA part-qualified (years 1–3 of training contract ideal)
• Experience working in a UK practice environment
• Solid foundation in audit and account preparation
• Comfortable with analytical reviews and audit testing
• Clear communicator with strong attention to detail
