Senior Accountant

Description:

This growing firm, experiencing 100% year-on-year growth, is looking for a Senior Accountant or Practice Manager to join their team and help continue their expansion. They’ve achieved this growth without outbound marketing campaigns, thanks to their deep, trusted client relationships, which bring advisory-led work and significant impact without sales pressure.

In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of high-value clients with turnovers ranging from £5 million to £20 million, delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services. You’ll also support and lead a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants, mentoring them to ensure a high-performance work environment.

Key responsibilities include overseeing client relationships, providing strategic financial advice, ensuring compliance, driving process improvements, and collaborating with senior leaders and other stakeholders to expand the business and attract new clients. The role will also involve preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy, and acting as the primary point of contact for clients.

You’ll be given the time and space to do the job properly, surrounded by a genuinely supportive team, including senior leaders with Big 4 and FTSE 100 backgrounds.

Skills and Qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA qualified

• Strong experience in practice, working with complex, growing businesses

• A natural team player with commercial acumen

• Local to Weybridge or surrounding areas
