Senior Broker Support Technician

Your new company has a solid reputation, for providing innovative insurance and reinsurance solutions to their valued Clients/Retail Brokers and pride themselves on delivering an exceptional level of service.

Your new company now has a brand new and exciting position within their North American Property & Casualty Division, in an exciting and Front-End Technical role, where you will be working closely with Brokers to ensure the effective placement of risks.

The Role

• Responsible for working collaboratively with Brokers, Underwriters and Client’s in providing an exceptional level of technical support
• Production and delivering of all documentation in line with compliance including MRC Slips, Certificates, Endorsements etc
• Liasing with other internal teams to ensure all work is carried out in line with company policies and procedures
• Working closely with the Brokers to assist in the review of renewals and supporting the process
• Keeping all relevant in-house systems and worksheets up to date in a timely and accurate manner
• Preparing, attending and contributing to internal meetings
• Assisting and providing colleagues with coaching and support

About you

• 4 + years experience within a Broker Support/Back-Up position for a Lloyd’s Broker
• Experienced in creating MRC Slips and Endorsements
• Experienced in North American or International Property Risks
• Ability to pay acute attention to detail
• Extensive technical knowledge in placement and coverage
• First class communication and interpersonal skills
• Methodical approach and team player
