SharkNinja, a global leader in product design and disruptive innovation, is seeking a Senior Finance Manager, Gross Margin – EMEA to join their high-impact finance team in Leeds. This hybrid role (3 days onsite) offers the opportunity to influence financial strategies, enhance gross margin performance, and support cross-functional leadership across EMEA.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IFRS15 revenue recognition, strong analytical capabilities in contract and margin evaluation, and demonstrated leadership experience in managing finance teams and high-stakes reporting. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead gross margin accounting operations across the EMEA region, partnering with finance, commercial, and operations teams.

• Ensure robust IFRS15 compliance in revenue recognition processes and maintain clarity across complex revenue streams.

• Review and interpret commercial contracts, identifying financial risks and opportunities.

• Oversee rebates and incentives accounting, ensuring accuracy, validation, and margin optimization.

• Manage a team of 8 finance professionals (including 3 direct reports), building a culture of performance and accountability.

• Lead the month-end close process for gross margin, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of P&L and balance sheet results.

• Deliver insightful financial reports and analyses to senior leadership to support decision-making.

• Be the accounting representative in cross-functional projects, ensuring financial integrity in initiatives.

• Manage communications with external auditors and collaborate with internal audit teams; ensure Gross Margin SOX controls are maintained.

• Coordinate efforts with global finance and commercial counterparts for cohesive financial operations.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

• Substantial experience in a senior finance role within a fast-paced, consumer-oriented business

• Deep expertise in IFRS15 and its application

• Strong skills in contract analysis and financial modeling

• Experience managing rebates, incentives, and margin-impacting processes

• Demonstrated team leadership with the ability to coach, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance group

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data into executive insights

• Proactive problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement orientation

Desirable:

• Familiarity with SOX compliance frameworks and internal controls
