Senior Financial Accountant

Description:

Reporting to the Deputy Financial Controller, the Senior Financial Accountant is a critical position within the Finance team and is responsible for preparation of all financial reporting for the UK entity. This includes reporting Results to the parent company, review and ownership of the financial control framework, preparation of Cashflows both direct/indirect and ownership of key technical accounting questions/papers.

This role has 1 Direct report with the Junior Financial accountant – Assisting with Cashflow and reporting requirements.

The Senior Financial Accountant will build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive process improvements, meet reporting requirements and deliver on clear forecasts. This role would suit a qualified accountant with 2-3 years relevant post qualification experience.

What you will be doing..

• End to End Management of both Indirect & Direct Cashflows.
• Including Design & implantation of new reporting streams to maintain high levels of accuracy.
• Technical Accounting questions & papers.
• End to End management of Stock - Including Capital Stock.
• Review and Maintenance of Financial Control Framework.
• Assistance with Annual Statutory and Group Audit
• Review and submission of Monthly & Quarterly Reporting.
• Team Management – Junior Financial accountant.
• Preparation of Key Monthly Balance sheets.

What we are looking for:

• ACA/ACCA qualified accountant.
• 2-3 years post qualification experience
• Strong Technical Ability
• Skilled in Excel & large data analytics.
• Cashflow – Indirect and Direct – Experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly with people at all levels of the organisation.
• Demonstrated capability to redesign processes, often using technology
• Excellent Excel & Data analytics skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment, whilst maintain a high level of accuracy and focus.
