Description:
Pure Data Centres Group, a leading innovation-driven digital infrastructure organization, is seeking a Senior Manager, Customer Solutions to lead and manage the technical RFP response process across its data centre portfolio. Headquartered in London with operations spanning the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Asia, the company focuses on intelligent design, engineering, and sustainability to develop world-class data centres for major technology companies.
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end technical RFP process, coordinating inputs from engineering, commercial, operations, and sales teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused proposals. You will play a crucial role in aligning technical solutions with operational capabilities and sustainability goals, acting as the central point of coordination for complex and multi-faceted proposals.
Lead and coordinate the full technical RFP response process ensuring timely, high-quality submissions.
Collaborate across engineering, commercial, operations, and sales teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
Manage project timelines, stakeholder engagement, and escalate risks where required.
Validate technical feasibility and compliance of proposed solutions.
Create and refine technical documentation, proposals, and contract-ready deliverables.
Standardize outputs from engineering teams to improve proposal quality and consistency.
Continuously optimize internal processes, templates, and response strategies.
Ensure proposals align with both operational capabilities and sustainability commitments.
Degree in Engineering or related field with approx. 10 years of experience in technical project management.
Proven track record in managing complex technical RFPs within data centres or critical infrastructure.
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Experience liaising with senior stakeholders, vendors, and customers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably design tools like Bluebeam Revu.
Strong organizational and documentation skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
Leadership experience with cross-functional teams.
Problem-solving, adaptability, and a mindset for continuous improvement.
