Description:
Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Organisational Effectiveness (OE) Practitioner to join its Organisational Effectiveness Team. The Trust is a leading healthcare provider in the North West, serving over 1.4 million people across multiple regions, including North West, North Wales, and the Midlands, offering both physical and mental health services as well as specialist inpatient care.
The role focuses on delivering team-based Organisational Development (OD) interventions across a wide range of clinical and support services, supporting large-scale organisational transformation, and fostering cultures of belonging, inclusion, and continuous learning. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sustainable team development within complex environments and a passion for OD initiatives, particularly in promoting Restorative Just & Learning Culture and Anti-Racism strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver team-based OD interventions across Clinical and Trust Support services
Support large-scale organisational redesign and transformation projects
Foster cultures of inclusion, learning, and belonging within teams and the wider organisation
Work collaboratively with staff, service users, families, and carers to co-design services
Support strategic initiatives to improve service quality and operational efficiency
Candidate Qualities:
Proven experience in delivering sustainable OD interventions at multiple organisational levels
Strong understanding of organisational transformation within healthcare environments
Passion for fostering inclusive and equitable cultures
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
