Senior Planner

Description:

JAM is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Planner to join a leading construction company based in Cambridge, operating with a hybrid working model. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on significant projects across the UK within a market-leading organisation.

As a Senior Planner, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of construction projects by developing and maintaining comprehensive and detailed project schedules. You will be responsible for performing critical path analysis to identify project milestones, potential delays, and dependencies, ensuring that projects remain on track and within scope.

Your responsibilities will also include preparing accurate cost estimates related to project timelines, continuously monitoring project budgets, and providing forecasts to assist in financial decision-making. Risk management will be a key part of your role; you will proactively identify potential risks to the project schedule, evaluate their potential impact, and collaborate with project stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.

You will generate and present regular progress reports and schedule updates to key stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and contractors, ensuring transparent and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

To excel in this role, you must have proven experience as a Planner within an engineering or construction environment, with a strong preference for candidates skilled in using ASTA Powerproject software. The ability to manage multiple stakeholders, solve complex scheduling problems, and adapt to evolving project demands is essential.

Experience within industrial and construction sectors will be considered highly advantageous, as you will be working on diverse projects that require technical insight and proactive planning.
