Senior Pricing Associate

They are currently seeking a Senior Pricing Associate to join their Corporate Risk Solutions (CRS) team within M&G Life. The team focuses on designing and delivering bulk purchase annuities (BPAs) and other de-risking products for Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes. Due to continued success and business growth, they are expanding their team.

In this role, you will play a key part in the end-to-end pricing process for BPAs and related de-risking solutions. You’ll work cross-functionally with professionals in commercial, investment, longevity, reinsurance, and structuring disciplines. You will be involved in various strategic and technical initiatives, support transaction management, and contribute to the development of new and enhanced pricing models and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end pricing for BPA and other de-risking solutions.

• Collaborate with internal teams and outsourcing partners to integrate all necessary streams into pricing projects.

• Provide technical analysis and strategic support to senior stakeholders.

• Assist in client deliverables and relationship management activities.

• Drive modelling innovation and enhancements across CRS pricing infrastructure.

• Support development of novel transaction structures, including reinsurance solutions and new product lines.

• Participate in pricing initiatives with Treasury, Finance Strategy, and Finance Reporting teams.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Commercial mindset with strong actuarial technical expertise.

• Experience in bulk annuity pricing, funded/longevity reinsurance, or life insurance modeling.

• Solid understanding of Solvency II/UK life insurance balance sheet and asset-liability management.

• Experience with institutional insurance product structuring is a plus.

• Strong initiative, time management, and ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
