Senior Production Manager

Role Overview
You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and clients, combining creative thinking with technical expertise to deliver outstanding live experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initial brief through to on-site delivery and completion
- Collaborate with Project Directors and Creative teams to interpret briefs and develop effective production solutions
- Contribute technical input during concept development, ensuring ideas are feasible and aligned with budget
- Prepare and manage budgets, schedules, and risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with design teams and specialist suppliers to deliver all production elements
- Oversee project administration, including documentation, reporting, and financial tracking
- Ensure all health and safety requirements are met, including risk assessments and method statements
- Monitor project timelines and maintain quality control across all stages, including live event delivery
- Act as a key technical point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
- Support the preparation of tender documents, pitches, and technical proposals
Skills and Experience
- 4–6 years’ experience in a production management role within live events
- Strong technical knowledge, including lighting, sound, AV, rigging, and event infrastructure
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Effective communicator, able to work with a range of stakeholders
- Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and make sound decisions on-site
- Good understanding of health and safety legislation, including CDM
- Full UK driving licence
