Senior Project Manager

Description:

CBEC Eco-Engineering is hiring a Senior Project Manager with 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in river restoration, fluvial/coastal geomorphology, fisheries/catchment management, ecology, or hydrology. The role involves:

• Managing and overseeing projects in England and Wales.

• Leading project teams, coordinating day-to-day operations, implementing QA procedures, mitigating project risks.

• Writing tenders, developing project proposals, contributing to marketing.

• Building relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

• Participating in fieldwork when required.

• Line management responsibilities for project staff.

Requirements:

• MSc in water resource/environmental management preferred.

• Strong knowledge of river restoration theory/practice and flood risk management.

• Understanding of fluvial geomorphology, aquatic/riparian ecology, fisheries science, and hydrology/fluid dynamics.

• Full UK Driving Licence, formal project management training, financial management skills.

• Experience with EA, NRW, SEPA preferred.

• Dependable, proactive, self-motivated, willing to travel.
