Senior Service Designer

 

Description:

Tomorrow is supporting a leading financial services organisation who are seeking a Senior Service Designer to join their growing in-house design team. You'll play a key role in shaping digital services that are human-centred, insight-driven, and commercially impactful — particularly across motor finance, collections, and customer growth initiatives.

 

Working within a tight-knit internal agency model, you’ll collaborate closely with product designers, strategists, and insight colleagues. You’ll use your experience in journey mapping and service blueprinting to redesign how customers interact with financial services — driving measurable improvements across the customer lifecycle.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design of seamless, insight-led services across multiple touchpoints
  • Redefine customer journeys and translate them into strategic, scalable design solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, insight, strategy) to shape roadmaps and service improvements
  • Advocate for customer-first thinking across optimisation and new product development
  • Develop service blueprints, journey maps, and concept presentations that speak to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Present to leadership and influence at ExCo/C-suite level

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Established years of experience in service or UX design, ideally in complex or regulated environments
  • Expertise in service blueprinting, user journey frameworks, and digital product optimisation
  • Confident communicator and facilitator, able to lead workshops and stakeholder sessions
  • Strong understanding of insight and research, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail
  • Experience with Figma, whiteboarding tools (e.g., Miro), or equivalent
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and contributing to a collaborative, feedback-led design culture
  • Diverse backgrounds across digital, professional services, consulting
