Description:
Oceana Construction, a reputable name in both residential and commercial construction, is seeking a Finishing Site Manager for its project site in Crumlin, Northern Ireland. The company is well-recognized for delivering exceptional outcomes across a diverse portfolio, including cut-and-carve renovations and new-build developments.
As the Finishing Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the construction site, particularly focusing on the finishing phase of the project. The ideal candidate will bring a strong eye for detail, ensuring a high-quality finish and timely delivery while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all site activities related to the finishing stage of the project
Ensure full adherence to project specifications, deadlines, and safety protocols
Work closely with the contracts manager, subcontractors, suppliers, and trades
Maintain high standards of quality control and site presentation
Enforce health and safety procedures across the site
Ensure that snagging, detailing, and final handovers are completed to high standards
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience managing finishing works on construction sites
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict timelines
Possession of a CSR Manager's card or SMSTS qualification is essential
Immediate availability preferred
