F and R Carpentry Ltd is looking for skilled and reliable Carpenters / Joiners to join their team on a self-employed basis for ongoing new build projects. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced tradespeople who take pride in precision craftsmanship, have a strong work ethic, and are capable of delivering high-quality finishes in a fast-paced construction environment.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in all aspects of joinery and be able to work independently from technical drawings while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of carpentry duties including joisting, roofing, first fix, second fix, and third fix works.

• Read, interpret, and work accurately from technical and architectural drawings.

• Collaborate effectively with other trades on-site such as electricians and plumbers to ensure coordinated project completion.

• Ensure that all tasks meet high-quality standards and project timelines.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.

• Adhere to site safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Must possess a reliable vehicle for site travel.

• Must have own hand tools and power tools suitable for carpentry tasks.

• An M-class hoover for power tool dust extraction is essential.

• Previous experience in new build projects and price work is required.

• Strong understanding of joinery, fabrication techniques, and installation processes.

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow precise specifications.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when needed.

• Proven record of craftsmanship, reliability, and safety awareness.
