Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop security automation efforts, improving cybersecurity capabilities across the organization.
- Work with cloud security, particularly focusing on Azure.
- Manage security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) processes.
- Develop and implement detection engineering strategies and use KQL (Kusto Query Language).
- Work with a broad range of cybersecurity tools, with the Microsoft security suite highly desirable.
- Create and integrate APIs for enhanced security processes.
- Utilize programming languages such as Python and PowerShell for automating tasks and processes.
Skills & Experience
- Cloud Security: Strong background in Azure security.
- Security Orchestration & Automation: Hands-on experience with SOAR technologies and automated security responses.
- Detection Engineering: Ability to work with KQL and other detection tools.
- Tools & Technologies: Experience with a broad range of cybersecurity tools (Microsoft suite is a plus).
- APIs: Proficiency in working with APIs to enhance security workflows.
- Programming: Proficient in Python and PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks.
