Description:
A leading insurance organisation is seeking a Strategic Transformation Officer to help define the next phase of a major data and cloud transformation. A high-level strategy has been developed, but now requires deeper definition-particularly around the technology Target Operating Model (TOM) and practical implementation planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and define a data-led implementation roadmap based on the existing high-level cloud strategy
- Lead the design of the technology Target Operating Model (TOM) to support a cloud-native, data-driven business
- Review and rationalise a proposed transformation budget (currently in the hundreds of millions) to ensure efficient delivery
- Provide strategic leadership with potential to transition into a delivery oversight role
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, technology, and delivery teams to ensure alignment and execution readiness
Ideal Candidate:
- Senior leader with a track record in delivering cloud and data strategy transformations
- Ideally experience working as a Architect (Data focussed)
- Experience working as a Programme Director, Transformation Director etc
- Deep understanding of technology operating models and enterprise data architecture
- Strong background in the insurance sectoror experience in broader financial services
- Experienced in evaluating and optimising large-scale programme budgets
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels
