Structural Engineer

Description:

We are looking for candidates that have a suitable engineering degree Meng / BEng in civil or structural engineering with 2 years or more experience.

Job overview:

• Creating detailed technical drawings and building models in 2D and 3D
• Produce plans, sections elevations from the models to communicate the structural design
• Use Building Information Modelling to integrate the structural design with the architecture and building services to provide a coordinated design
• Use of online document systems
• Conduct site visits and surveys

About you:

• Ideally HNC / HND in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Ability to liaise with clients and contractors
• Proficient AutoCAD user with experience in other design packages including Revit
• Broad technical knowledge in structural detailing
• 3D modelling, BIM and architectural visualization skills
• RC detailing experience is beneficial
• Motivated individual able to work as part of a team
• Strong communication, analysis and technical design skills
