Description:
Verra Mobility is seeking a Systems Technician (Repairs) to join their team in Southampton. The company is a global leader in smart mobility, providing technology-driven solutions including speed and red-light enforcement cameras, tolling management, and connected systems for commercial fleets.
In this hands-on role, the Systems Technician will support the repair and testing of camera-based speed enforcement systems, provide remote technical support to field teams and customers, manage stores and inventory, assist with reporting, and occasionally handle logistics tasks. Travel may occasionally include sites in Ireland or Belgium.
Key Responsibilities:
Repair and test hardware systems according to operational priorities.
Provide remote technical support to field teams across the UK and Europe.
Manage and track stores and equipment with proper inventory control.
Maintain accurate technical and inventory documentation.
Collaborate with Engineering, Logistics, and Field Services teams.
Identify and implement process improvements.
Comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in installations, testing, and commissioning where required.
Requirements / About You:
Hands-on, technically minded professional with experience in system repair, IT hardware/software, and networking.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proactive safety-first mindset.
Relevant diploma or equivalent experience repairing electronic componentry.
Valid UK driver’s license.
Ability to manage a varied technical workload and support field teams.
