As a Tax Assistant Manager (In-House), you will work closely with the Head of Tax, managing outsourced compliance processes, contributing to tax advisory work, and supporting investment-related projects. The position offers excellent exposure across corporate and fund-level taxation while collaborating with key internal teams and external advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage outsourced UK and international tax compliance processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Provide support for tax advisory matters across corporate and fund-level issues.
Assist with the tax aspects of investment structuring, deal execution, and transaction support.
Monitor ongoing tax developments, assessing potential implications for the business and investment strategies.
Collaborate with finance, legal, and investment teams on ad-hoc business projects.
Drive process improvements and support risk management initiatives within the tax function.
Requirements:
ACA or CTA qualified professional with 3–5 years of relevant tax experience.
Strong technical grounding in UK corporate tax and solid academic background.
Previous experience working in a professional services environment (Big 4 or mid-tier firm preferred).
Commercial awareness with a genuine interest in financial markets and investments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues clearly.
Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to business success.
