Description:

Phiona.ai, a product developed by Cantine Limited, is seeking an innovative and technically strong Technical Product Manager to join its remote team based in the UK. Phiona is a cutting-edge behavioral intelligence system designed to align content recommendations with user intent in industries like music, gaming, and wellness, ultimately optimizing user engagement and improving ROI for platforms and rights holders. As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of product development—from ideation to prototype, delivery, and client activation. You will serve as a crucial link between product, science, and engineering teams, and must translate complex scientific insights into actionable product features that deliver measurable customer value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end product lifecycle from conception to deployment and activation

  • Conduct product research, gather user feedback, and perform discovery interviews

  • Create wireframes and lead rapid prototyping and product demos

  • Work cross-functionally to prioritize features and track development progress

  • Coordinate project management activities within the technical team

  • Translate scientific research and data-driven insights into real product features

  • Establish efficient feedback loops between users, clients, and developers

What They’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience working with complex digital products in AI, health tech, gaming, or music-tech

  • Background in science, engineering, or related technical fields

  • Familiarity with APIs, data pipelines, and signal processing workflows is a bonus

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in startup or high-growth environments

  • Strong skills in synthesis of customer insights and mapping features based on needs

  • Success in navigating ambiguity and working with high ambition in a startup setting

  • Comfortable with MVP development, iterative launches, and direct customer engagement

Additional Requirements:

  • Applicants must hold a valid UK passport or UK work permit

  • Only direct applications will be considered; recruitment agencies will not be engaged
