Description:

Avidity Science - EMEA is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assembly & Test Technician to join their growing production team based in Long Crendon, near Thame. The successful candidate will play an essential role in assembling, testing, and supporting the timely output of high-end precision water purification devices that are shipped to customers globally.

This role offers a hands-on opportunity in a small, efficient production team, providing exposure to both mechanical and electrical assembly tasks. While previous production or assembly experience is desired, comprehensive training will be provided to ensure success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical products as per production build forecasts and customer demands.

  • Maintain best practice standards, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality management procedures (BS ISO9001).

  • Take a proactive approach to problem-solving and report quality, assembly, or non-conformance issues in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate closely with team members and assist with packing, dispatch, and the introduction of new products and processes.

  • Support training of other team members where required.

  • Uphold 5S and health and safety standards across the production area.

  • Demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and responsibility in all assigned duties.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Skilled in production/assembly tasks with experience using hand tools.

  • Strong attention to detail with ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with good interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).

  • IT literate with good problem-solving abilities.

  • Mechanical/electrical experience preferred; an electro-mechanical qualification is desired.

  • Experience in manual handling.

  • Willingness to learn and contribute effectively to team goals.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
