Test Centre Administrator

Description:

Pearson VUE is looking for a Test Centre Administrator to join their successful team in Swindon on a temporary six-month contract. This role will involve welcoming test candidates, ensuring exam security and compliance, and offering exceptional customer service during test-taking sessions. The Test Centre Administrator is responsible for managing the testing environment, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring all processes are followed according to Pearson VUE's guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check-in candidates, ensuring proper ID verification and explaining the exam process.
• Proctor and invigilate candidates during their exams.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with support from internal departments.
• Maintain cleanliness in the test centre.
• Provide a positive experience for candidates during their test-taking.

Requirements:

• School qualifications in English and Maths.
• Some experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is advantageous.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to monitor candidates during tests.
• Ability to sit for long periods and escort candidates as needed.

Additional Information:

• Minimum 8.25 hours per week, including some Saturdays.
• Paid monthly at £12.77 per hour.
• Flexible shifts and various working hours are required.
