Test Development Engineer

Description:

There is a particular focus on the specification, development, design, construction and commissioning of custom, purpose built automated test equipment solutions to meet the business objectives for the NPI process within a mix of products ranging from low to high volume intrinsically safe products.

Key responsibilities of the Test Development Engineer - Contract job:

• Responsible for creating high quality Engineering and production concepts, as well as developing testing systems and fixtures that meet customer needs.
• You will be in charge of updating and releasing tester hardware, software, and design documentation to accommodate engineering chain orders.
• Conduct incremental tester design verification and validations, while keeping associated documents up to date.
• You will also be providing valuable input into design engineers and actively participate in test design group meetings to keep up to date with the latest tester design practices.

Key skills/experience required for the Test Development Engineer - Contract job:

• Experience with Software and Hardware within Test Engineering
• Experience in Programming using LabVIEW and TestStand
• Experience in Test Development is required.
