Description:

Pegasus Group is seeking talented Urban Designers, Layout Designers, and Masterplanners to join its well-established and rapidly growing Design service team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with multiple vacancies open across various levels from Designer to Associate Designer, based in Liverpool and potentially other offices throughout the UK.

As a key part of a leading UK multidisciplinary development consultancy, Pegasus Group’s Design consultancy engages in high-impact projects nationwide. These include large-scale urban extensions, regeneration strategies, renewable energy ventures, and comprehensive residential development schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and managing conceptual urban design and planning work.

• Conducting feasibility studies, master planning, development briefs, and crafting design strategies.

• Contributing to residential and mixed-use developments for both private clients and developers.

• Producing both drawn and written materials for planning applications (outline, full, and reserved matters).

• Collaborating with internal and external interdisciplinary teams.

Candidate Profile:

• Holds a relevant qualification in urban design or a closely related field.

• Proven experience within a private practice, consultancy, or commercial housebuilding environment.

• Strong visioning and masterplanning capabilities for both large and small sites.

• Demonstrates commercial awareness in residential layout design.

• Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working autonomously.

• Understanding of planning systems and local authority design guidance.

• Proficient in CAD software; knowledge of Vectorworks (CAD) is a plus.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
