Vehicle Test Technician

Expleo Group is seeking skilled Vehicle Test Technicians to join its project team on a contract basis, working with a major automotive manufacturer in Bedfordshire. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the development and validation of cutting-edge vehicle technologies, far beyond the scope of a traditional workshop environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the testing and validation of advanced automotive systems, including Navigation, Telematics, Infotainment, and Connected Car technologies. This is an exciting chance to directly contribute to the performance and reliability of future vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, innovation, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct electronic and electrical testing of navigation, telematics, infotainment, and connected car systems.

• Perform system fault finding, repair, and validation.

• Disassemble, assemble, and maintain vehicle systems and components.

• Set up and configure instrumentation and diagnostic tools.

• Operate test rigs and perform component measurements.

• Collect, analyse, and report technical data.

• Produce detailed technical reports, graphs, and presentations.
