Web3 Aml Lead

Description:

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that the Web3 AML framework is designed and delivered in line with both regulatory expectations and the size, scale and nature of BC’s Web3 business. You will get the chance to build out the AML requirements for Banking Circle’s Web3 business, including regulatory research, operational build and procedural gap analyses to create and enhance AML operating procedures. You will have a strong knowledge of the different controls required to mitigate the AML risks in this complex and high-risk area which will need to evolve as the business grows.

• Oversight of the AML control framework for Web3
• Management of BC’s systems for AML compliance (such as Elliptic and Notabene)
• Management of AML operations for Web3, including alert management from relevant AML systems
• Ownership and development of enhancement programme (as required) to ensure AML control framework scales in line with business expansion plans
• Act as a Web3 regulatory SME, conducting ongoing horizon scanning in collaboration with compliance and AML intelligence to identify potential risks and mitigants related to the Bank’s exposure to Web3
• Partner with Web3 business and Business AML stakeholders to operationalize control framework
• Creation, development and implementation of enhanced Web3 AML procedures along with subsequent updates and respective training
