Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites for a variety of clients.
• Build bespoke themes and plugins to support complex design and functionality.
• Collaborate with designers to translate visual concepts into pixel-perfect, responsive builds.
• Optimise sites for performance, accessibility, and SEO.
• Integrate APIs, CRMs, and third-party tools as required.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance site performance.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in WordPress and front-end development.

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years’ experience developing WordPress sites (ideally in an agency environment).
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Proven experience creating custom themes and plugins.
• Familiarity with page builders (Gutenberg, Elementor, etc.) and ACF.
• Experience with WooCommerce, REST APIs, and Git version control.
• Strong attention to detail, with an eye for design and user experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic agency setting.
