Bessette Ltd, a growing luxury off-price e-commerce retailer, is hiring a Part-Time Bookkeeper to support its financial operations. Located in Chiswick, West London, the role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and requires close coordination with external accountants and the founding team. The role demands a meticulous, organized, and experienced financial professional with strong e-commerce knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform timely and accurate data entry and reconciliation of all financial transactions.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable tailored to the e-commerce model.

• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and payment platforms including Shopify Payments and PayPal.

• Process and manage sales data from Shopify.

• Assist in preparing financial reports for the external accounting team.

• Keep detailed and organized financial records up to date and audit-ready.

• Act as a liaison between the company and external accountants, supplying all necessary documentation.

• Ensure all financial practices comply with relevant accounting regulations and standards.

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience.

• Expertise in QuickBooks Online is essential.

• Strong working experience with Shopify’s financial tools and reporting features.

• In-depth understanding of e-commerce operations and accounting workflows.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage tasks independently and efficiently.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

• Must be available to work 4 hours per week on-site at the West London office.
