The Role
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join us on a permanent basis via the Robert Walters Consultancy. Your first assignment will be at Legal & General, in Hove, Brighton.

Legal & General is a leading financial services group, providing pensions, insurance, and investment solutions that help individuals and businesses build long-term financial security.

What you'll do
* Gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements using user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting artefacts to enable effective change delivery.
* Lead and facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery activities to shape solution scope, priorities, and customer-focused outcomes.
* Collaborate with Product Owners and Lead Business Analysts to define epics, manage and prioritise product backlogs, and support value-driven decision-making.
* Work closely with developers, UX designers, and support teams to translate requirements into viable designs, wireframes, and prototypes throughout the delivery lifecycle.
* Partner with technical and specialist teams to model processes, systems, data flows, and information structures, ensuring accuracy and quality.
* Manage stakeholder engagement across multiple business areas and seniority levels, driving alignment and supporting the delivery of fair customer outcomes.

What you bring
* Degree or equivalent in Business Analysis, IT, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
* Professional BA certification (BCS, IIBA, or equivalent); Agile or SAFe certification desirable.
* Strong Business or Systems Analysis experience across Agile and Waterfall delivery, ideally within Financial Services or Asset Management.
* Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and collaborate effectively with product, delivery, and technical teams.
* Solid capability in requirements definition, backlog management, customer-centred design, and system and data modelling; contact centre transformation experience desirable.
* Experience using common analysis tools (JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office, Visio), with desirable exposure to Microsoft Dynamics, retail protection products, and prior Legal & General experience.
