Business Intelligence Lead

Description:

Oliver James is seeking a hands-on Business Intelligence Lead to develop and drive their BI roadmap. In this leadership role, you will mentor a team of BI analysts and developers, design and optimize dashboards and reporting systems, and enforce data governance and best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex data sets into clear, actionable business insights that support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and mentoring BI teams.

• Designing, building, and optimizing BI dashboards and reports.

• Defining and enforcing data governance policies.

• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and KPIs.

• Translating complex data into actionable insights.

• Driving adoption of data tools and self-service analytics.

• Evaluating and implementing BI tools and platforms.

Candidate Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in BI, analytics, or related field.

• Strong proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Deep knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL.

• Proven experience leading teams and managing stakeholder relationships.

• Strong business acumen and communication skills.

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related discipline (Master’s degree is a plus).
