Civils Supervisor

 

Description:

Fibre Network Group, a growing telecommunications contractor specializing in high-quality fibre network build projects, is hiring a Civils Supervisor. The role involves overseeing network build civils projects across Surrey, Sussex, and Kent regions. The supervisor will be responsible for ensuring quality control, site supervision, and effective communication across teams and stakeholders.

Key duties include coordinating and supervising direct labour and subcontractors, liaising with local and highways authorities as well as clients, managing traffic controls, and overseeing deliveries and materials. The Civils Supervisor must ensure all work complies with NRSWA standards and SROH regulations, maintain site safety to the highest standards, and keep project delivery within set timeframes. Daily reporting to Civils Manager and Project Manager is required, alongside collating evidence and measures of work completed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site supervision and quality control on civils projects

  • Coordinating direct labour and subcontractors

  • Liaising with Local Authorities, Highways Authorities, clients, service drivers, and suppliers

  • Reviewing traffic management plans

  • Managing materials and deliveries

  • Ensuring compliance with NRSWA standards and SROH regulations

  • Maintaining site safety standards

  • Keeping project delivery on schedule

  • Providing daily updates to management

  • Collecting measures and evidence for completed works

Qualifications:

  • SA006 (NRSWA Supervisory qualification)

  • NRSWA Supervisor LA & S1-S7

  • SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme) – desired but not essential

  • MT003

  • Full driving license
