Class 2 Delivery Driver

Tesco’s Booker Group, the UK’s leading food and drink wholesaler, is currently seeking a Class 2 Delivery Driver to join their delivery operations in Leeds. As a Class 2 Delivery Driver, you’ll become an essential part of the logistics team, responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods to Booker’s valued customers. You’ll be operating a Cat C / 18T vehicle while ensuring the highest levels of customer service and accurate documentation. This role is suitable for those looking to reduce long-distance travel and enjoy a more balanced routine with the opportunity to work close to home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load stock at the branch and deliver to various customer premises safely and punctually.

• Complete delivery paperwork with precision and maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic maintenance.

• Maintain strong customer relationships through professionalism and service reliability.

• Support store operations by ensuring timely restocking of essential goods.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 / Cat C / 18T licence.

• Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience.

• Prior experience in multi-drop delivery driving is preferred.

• Physically fit with the ability to handle manual deliveries.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for documentation handling.
