Construction Senior Associate

Description:

Osborne Clarke, a Band 1 rated construction practice, is seeking a Construction Senior Associate to join their highly regarded team in London or Bristol. The role offers the opportunity to work on a broad and exciting range of non-contentious construction projects for clients who are leaders in their respective fields. The practice covers national infrastructure projects, including energy generation (primarily renewables), regeneration, mixed-use and residential developments, commercial and logistics projects, and major retail developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide procurement advice and legal project management.

• Negotiate complex construction procurement agreements, bespoke or industry-standard, independently or alongside other advisers.

• Collaborate with contentious construction, major projects, renewables, commercial real estate, and banking/project finance teams.

• Advise leading clients across sectors, including GLP, Foresight, RWE, Hochtief, Arlington, UPP, Pario, Amey, Greystar, Cubex Land, Barratt, David Wilson Homes, Taylor Wimpey, InfraRed, Vistry Group, Octopus, Equitix, NGED, Conrad, Bluefield, and Downing.

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of construction matters, including forward funding arrangements or project finance-led structures.

• Ability to manage multiple interested parties and complex transactions.

• Highly motivated, versatile, and able to work across different sectors.
