Customer Advisor

Description:

Join B&Q as a TradePoint Customer Advisor and be at the core of supporting trade members by providing excellent customer service and product recommendations tailored to their needs. You’ll work part-time, 16 hours weekly, with flexible shift patterns across Monday to Sunday between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm. This role is based at B&Q Consett.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage and build strong relationships with TradePoint members, understanding their business and product needs

• Provide advice and recommend the right products and services to support trade customers

• Take ownership of your TradePoint members, proactively identifying new business opportunities

• Promote trade loyalty schemes and special offers to help customers get the best value

• Work collaboratively as part of the team and assist colleagues as needed

• Participate in ongoing training and development to continuously enhance your skills

• Work flexibly on a rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays

Candidate Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach

• Ability to adapt your style to different customers and situations

• Strong team player with the ability to build positive relationships

• Enthusiasm for selling and identifying new business opportunities

• Willingness to learn and develop skills continuously

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
