Are you a Data Architect who enjoys shaping technical strategy while remaining hands-on with building and transforming data platforms?

I'm working with a large, listed UK consumer services business that operates across several regulated markets, looking for an experienced Principal / Staff Data Architect to take ownership of its data architecture and drive its next stage of platform transformation.

What are we looking for?
✔️ Strong experience in senior Data Architecture or Principal Data Engineering roles.
✔️ Solid GCP and BigQuery experience.
✔️ Practical experience with Apache Iceberg and/or Delta Lake.
✔️ Strong SQL and Python skills.
✔️ Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms.
✔️ Knowledge of data modelling, governance and modern data architecture.
✔️ Someone who can influence technical decisions while working closely with engineering teams.
