Description:
Currys plc, through its iD Mobile brand, is seeking a CRM Insight & Data Planning Manager to enhance CRM performance, data accuracy, and strategic planning across the customer lifecycle. This role is key in driving data-informed decisions, optimizing campaign performance, and supporting iD Mobile’s ambition to become a data-driven business.
General:
Support delivery of the CRM strategy through year-round campaign planning.
Manage stakeholder engagement and implement productivity improvements.
Lead data-focused projects and approve CRM-related projects when required.
Assist in developing business cases requiring data and insight.
Deputise for the Senior Manager with key stakeholders.
Insight:
Oversee the full insight lifecycle, providing actionable insights to inform CRM and broader business strategies.
Translate CRM briefs into structured requests for BI teams and deliver presentation-ready outputs.
Develop a CRM reporting framework aligned with customer lifetime value (CLV).
Lead CRM’s test-and-learn program, guiding segmentation and channel strategy.
Drive adoption of BI self-serve tools, enabling scalable insight delivery.
Data Planning:
Act as CRM data champion, promoting best practices and innovation, especially in AI-driven environments.
Ensure all customer communications comply with GDPR, ICO, and Ofcom regulations.
Own and evolve consent and permissions strategy, including repermissioning and suppression management.
Proactively manage data-related risks with contingency and incident response planning.
Lead strategic optimization of CRM data capabilities to unlock future customer value.
Minimum 5 years of CRM experience or 3 years in an Insight role with CRM campaign competency.
Proven ability to manage complex data flows and ensure compliance with personal data regulations.
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex datasets and deliver actionable insights.
Understanding of CLV, churn prediction, and segmentation modeling.
Technical proficiency with data platforms and tools such as Azure, Databricks, Power BI, and Google Analytics.
Experience in mobile and/or retail sectors, with subscription-based data models.
Practical coding experience (SQL, Python) is desirable.
