Design Verification Engineer

IC Resources is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Verification Engineer to join a stealth-mode start-up that is revolutionizing secure hardware design. Based in Cambridge with on-site requirements, this role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of hardware security, leveraging CHERI technology (Capability Hardware Enhanced RISC Instructions) to help define the future of secure computing systems.

As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and executing robust verification strategies to ensure the functionality and security of innovative hardware features. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping the company's verification processes and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with hardware design teams to define and document verification requirements for cutting-edge security features.

• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive UVM (Universal Verification Methodology)-based verification plans, testbenches, and scenarios.

• Verify the functionality and correctness of hardware implementations, with a focus on security and reliability.

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet functional and security specifications.

• Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve bugs and verification issues in a timely manner.

• Deliver clear and concise updates, reports, and findings to engineering and management teams.
