Tundra Technical Solutions, a growing high-tech manufacturing organisation, is seeking a Director of Operations to spearhead and enhance its operational capabilities across the UK. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for overseeing and scaling operational support functions during a critical transition from low-volume, manual production to high-volume, automated manufacturing.

The Director of Operations will play a key role in aligning operational strategies with the organisation’s ambitious growth targets, ensuring seamless delivery across engineering, production, quality, and commercial functions. This position demands an individual with proven expertise in managing multi-site operations and driving transformation in technically advanced, fast-paced environments.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing operational strategies, optimising facilities and procurement processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, managing infrastructure, and fostering cross-functional collaboration across UK and international sites.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field, along with exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with IT systems, safety protocols, quality control, and procurement is essential. Regular travel within the UK and internationally will be required.
