Rotation: Emergency Department, Gastroenterology, Ear Nose Throat, Maxillofacial surgery, General Practice

Experience in General Practice

• Continuity of care in GP, journey of patients from GP to ED or secondary care or tertiary care, journey of patients from secondary care to GP and community, Minor surgical procedures

Experience in Emergency Department

• Acutely ill patient management ranging from minor injuries to critically ill patients, teaching medical students, departmental teachings, management of patients in resuscitation bay and ambulances 

Experience in Gastroenterology

• Acute abdomen investigation and management, alcohol related illness investigations and management, liver cirrhosis and liver failure investigation and management, acute GI bleed management 

Experience in Ear Nose Throat and Maxillofacial Surgery

• Assistance in dental extraction, laryngectomy, tonsillectomy, skin graft, tracheostomy, running pre-op assessment clinics in ENT for tonsillectomy
